Join us to hear Barbara von Halle, co-inventor of The Decision Model, speak on Decision Modeling 2015 - What Business Analysts Need to Know and the Current State of Adoption.

We stand at a critical point in history.  Momentum is building for decision modeling.  The Decision Model (TDM) adoption is worldwide, including major banks, mortgage companies, and SAP for the financial services industry. (See April 27th article on ModernAnalyst.com announcing SAP's recent decision.)  The OMG DMN standard, inspired by TDM, is official.  Professionals and software vendors (even resistors) accept decision modeling as a crucial discipline.  And so it becomes mainstream.

The presentation starts where decision modeling began - a refresher on TDM.  Walking through a translation of compliance into a TDM model, the audience navigates an ambiguous, confusing business source, recasting it in TDM notation.

Jumping to current state, it covers: Sapiens’s acquisition of KPI, press releases of operational TDM-based models in production in large global corporations, SAP’s journal to TDM adoption, and how TDM is changing Agile projects.

It concludes with an update on DMN and explores the intriguing relationship between DMN and TDM: co-existence, integration, or other?
