IIBA unveiled the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guide v3 this past April.  BABOK is the essential standard for business analysis professionals.  This is a major overhaul of the guide and it comes with several new tools, techniques and perspectives.  Join us to keep yourself up to date on this leading industry standard for BAs.  


We plan to engage the participants in discussing:

- What has changed since BABOK Guide v2
- BA's expanded role in organizations reflected in BABOK Guide v3
- Business Analysis Core Concept Model
- Overview of all knowledge areas in BABOK v3
- New perspectives and techniques

About the speaker:




Nishant Mahitcha    


Nishant is a VP of Professional Development at IIBA® New York City Chapter. Nishant's responsibilities involve promoting the role of Business Analyst and facilitating knowledge sharing of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) in the New York City community of Business Analysis practitioners. Since taking on the position, he has led several successful BABOK v2 study groups and the chapter now counts 25 certified business analysis professionals among its members. He is looking forward to sharing BABOK Guide v3 with members and friends of the chapter.


Nishant has 15 years of experience in Equities and Capital Markets Technology. Experience involves consulting for leading investment banks in New York City; driving requirements analysis and solutions development engagements in a global delivery model while working with multifunctional teams across regions.
