Decision Models in Action: TDM, DMN, and Interactive Exercises

Barbara von Halle

This presentation celebrates today’s historical moment in time.  Decision Modeling has emerged as the fundamental way to manage decision logic (i.e., business rules, policies, regulatory requirements) as living models.  This is confirmed by analyst opinions and predictions, rapid pace of customer adoption, new OMG standard, and software vendor investments.  The time for fully embracing decision modeling and decision management is now.

Attendees for this presentation will:

·         Understand how decision modeling evolved from an innovative idea to mass acceptance

·         Appreciate the 15 principles for near-perfect decision models first time, even before testing

·         Work through two real-world exercises revealing the power of these simple principles

·         Learn to apply a proven roadmap for current and future decision model and software choices.

A demonstration of Sapiens DECISION will follow.

This live event expands on the ideas presented by Barbara in her Lunch & Learn presented to our chapter on April 27, 2016.
